Blending Creativity and Realism
How it started
How the biro drawings came to be, I started out drawing in pencil which is how my precise technique was developed.
Understanding the methods of achieving different effects and gradients that I have transferred over to ink.
The signifcant reason is I believe that there is a wider spectrum of shades to be obtained using ink, light to dark, albeit a not very forgiving medium to work with!
My Approach
My unconventional method to oil painting blends a traditional medium with a contemporary freeing approach.
I paint with palette knives, using abstract loose markings to create realism which was the origin of the brand statement ‘Blending Creativity and Realism’.
I find holding a palette knife compared to paint brushes far more liberating, opening my mind to higher levels of creativity and giving the opportunity to produce different effects with the paint, that would be beyond possibility with a more structured deliberate style of painting.

Send me a series of detailed photos, I will select the photo that will create the best composition.
Your artwork will be quoted and a 25% non-refundable deposit is paid upfront.
You will be continuously updated on the creation of your artwork throughout. Upon completion, you will be asked for your preferences with the finishing details.
The remaining balance is settled.
The artwork will be scanned in at the highest resolution to be professionally printed by Dataprint, Alton.
You will have your personal reel created of your commission for social media.
The artwork will be arranged for postal delivery or handover.
You will receive two business cards for referrals.
