About Me
I have always had a strong genuine connection to dogs and to be working with them as part of my everyday life is a very exciting prospect.
I am a large breed specialist having owned and grown up with newfoundlands for the past two decades and have become adept at handling reactive dogs relying on my experience.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to have built connections with a variety of different breeds across the gundog, pastoral and hound categories, covering both working and domestic behavioral sets, which has enhanced my holistic canine knowledge.
I am currently active in all aspects of the Newfoundland breed showing, working and I am a member of the Northern Newfoundland community.
I also have a background in hospitality and have gained first-hand experience of wedding operations which sparked the inspiration to add the wedding chaperoning service to Bear Paws ensuring that your loyal companion can witness these special moments with you as a family.

I am fully DBS checked and trained in first aid I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and needs, delivering a service that feels personal, not routine. Whether it’s building confidence with reactive dogs or giving energetic pups the exercise they crave, you can trust that every walk and visit is handled with care, patience, and genuine love for what I do.
I can also say from experience, that wedding days are long, emotional and overwhelming for the married couple, let alone for a dog. The focus is on the care of the dog ensuring that the fundamentals of their routine, feed times, exercise and rest, are maintained throughout the day!
